CHINA MAPS & THE NEXT STEPS....

Map of China

Our daughter is currently at the Changsha City No. 1 Social Welfare Institute, in Hunan Province (south-central China).

Hunan Province

We'll fly to China in mid to late September, spending about 2 weeks in-country. Right now, we're not sure if we're flying into Beijing, Shanghai, or Guangzhou. The normal process is to spend a couple days getting used to the time zone change. Then you fly to your child's Province & receive your child. After some more time (shopping, paperwork, getting to know Miss Zoe), we'll travel to Guangzhou in Guangdong Province. The American Consulate is located there. Zoe will receive a final physical exam. More shopping. More shopping & sightseeing.....is it time to go home yet????

It's now early September (updated 9/1/05). In the !!!2 COUNT 'EM ONLY 2!!! weeks before we travel to China, we will NOT be bored.

We'll need to:
- Review Zoe's Medical Reports with the International
Adoption Clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio - Done!
  Medical Report Page 13

- Get our Visas to enter China - Done! (rec'd 8/15/05)
(We used & can recommend There's Always Hope! courier service)
